I would try to get 2x annual commission, but settle for 1.5 minimum. American's are committed to the current free market system of obtaining health insurance coverage and will hold on to their policies with higher deductibles for the foreseeable future. The only thing the government is expected to do is a children mandate at this time. I think it may be a good idea for Obama to require all people to purchase an individual medical program with $2,500-$5,000 deductible and pharmacy optional as a requirement or tax to a typical premium amount and give them some basic package distributed by agents and local carriers in their area. This is similar to the real estate agents crisis and mortgage broker crisis. The value of our service is unquestionable to consumers and a much less expensive distribution model than carriers selling direct or a government run program.
